PilotTikaCert is in its pilot stage: free while we test it with a small group of NZ food businesses. Things may change as we learn.

TikaCert

For New Zealand producers, stockists and distributors

Stop chasing food safety certificates.

Upload your Food Control Plan, verification reports and insurance once, and everyone you sell to always sees the current version. Add the businesses you buy from and see at a glance whose certificates are current, expiring or missing.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Upload once

Add each certificate with its expiry date: a PDF, or a photo from your phone. When you renew, upload the new one and it replaces the old one everywhere.

  2. Step 2

    Share with customers

Stockists on the site follow you and see your current certificates. For everyone else, reply to their "please send your certificate" email with your public link.

  3. Step 3

    Track your suppliers

Invite the businesses that supply you. Choose the documents you need from each. We remind them at 60, 30 and 7 days before expiry, so nobody has to chase.

For producers

Send your certificates once. Every stockist sees your current Food Control Plan, verification report and insurance, and renewals reach them automatically.

For stockists

Never chase a certificate again. See which suppliers are current, expiring or missing, and get told before anything lapses.

For distributors

You're in the middle, so you get both: track everyone you buy from and share your own certificates with everyone you sell to.

Built for how NZ food compliance works

  • MPI Food Control Plan and National Programme registrations, verification reports, HACCP and GFSI audits
  • Organic, halal and kosher certification
  • Liability insurance, food contact declarations, COAs, spec sheets and allergen declarations
  • Data held in Australia, close to home

Sharing your certificates is always free

Every business can upload and share its own certificates for free, whatever it makes or sells. Keeping track of a larger number of suppliers will be a small monthly fee once the pilot ends. During the pilot, everything is free.
